Tony Castro

This coffee comes from Finca La Joya and is produced by Tony Castro. It’s a Parainema variety, which is a hybrid mostly grown in Honduras. It is tolerant and more resistant to most of the major coffee diseases. Parainema has become more famous since winning the Cup of Excellence in 2015. This coffee is not only a fun variety, but is also dry processed, resulting in a super sweet cup. The mouthfeel is syrupy like rum and sweet like dark cherry and vanilla syrup.
